CHF is a bespoke company that delivers new affordable and supported housing and returns empty properties back into use as homes. We do this in partnership with Local Government, Housing Associations and other Registered Providers.

CHF leads on the development of funding models that can deliver the required homes and provides the full project structure, management and funding to ensure satisfactory delivery of the programme. The CHF financial models build on the introduction of Affordable Rent by Central Government to deliver sub-market rent properties and provide an alternative to the traditional development finance model for Registered Providers which relies on government grant funding.

CHF is the Programme Director and lead company in bringing together a number of organisations that plan the increased supply of housing provision in order to meet housing needs where there is an identified shortfall.

Services

CHF has developed financial models for its Supported Housing, Affordable Housing, and Empty Homes programmes as well as the legal structures, framework and delivery systems for these programmes.

  • Supported Housing: Delivery of properties for the supported housing sector to enable people with support needs to live independently.
  • Affordable Housing: Delivery of new build homes for the affordable market.
  • Empty Homes: Acquiring and renovating empty homes to deliver some of the 800,000 empty homes in the UK back into use.

Context Housing Finance delivers new affordable and supported housing and returns empty properties back into use as homes. CHF has developed funding models that can deliver the required homes and provides the full programme structure, project management and finance to ensure satisfactory delivery of each programme.

CHF leads in identifying potential investors and introducing the programmes in its portfolio to a variety of private investors and institutional funding organisations to secure the required level of investment. It also puts in place the legal structures and documentation that deliver the requisite company structures for ownership, management and repayment arrangements.

The CHF Directors have an intimate and extensive knowledge of the Housing and Social Housing Sectors through their vast experience in these sectors. The Directors of CHF have over 75 years of collective experience directly in the social housing sector in the UK. This experience has enabled CHF to develop vigorous programmes for affordable new build housing, supported housing, and empty homes that will provide investment into a high demand sector, deliver much needed housing resource and at the same time provide healthy returns to investors.
